About the Positions
We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operators and DZ Drivers for triaxle and tandem dump trucks to join our growing team. The successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating excavators/backhoes/dozers or driving dump trucks.
As an hourly rental company, our operators work directly with our customers foreman and team and represent our company at all times. We expect all team members to treat customers with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. Clear communication, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.
Employees must listen carefully to customer requests, address concerns respectfully, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the job. Respect for the customer’s project is critical; operators are expected to work carefully, minimize disruption, and leave the work area in a clean and orderly condition whenever possible.

Responsibilities for Heavy Equipment Operators:
- Safely operate excavators and other heavy equipment as required
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, loading, and site preparation activities
- Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
- Work closely with crew members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete timecards daily using an app on your phone.
Responsibilities for Dump Truck Drivers:
- Safely operate tri-axle and tandem dump trucks to transport aggregates, soil, construction materials, and equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle inspection records.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and transported in accordance with all applicable regulations.
- Navigate construction sites, residential properties, and public roadways safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, customers, and site personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned equipment.
- Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly.
- Assist with other duties as required to support daily operations.
Qualifications for Heavy Equipment Operators:
- Minimum 5 years of proven heavy equipment operating.
- Strong understanding of excavation and site development practices.
- Ability to read and interpret locates and grade information.
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures and workplace safety regulations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications for Dump Truck Drivers:
- Valid DZ driver’s license (AZ license considered an asset).
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating tri-axle or tandem dump trucks.
- Clean driver’s abstract and strong safety record.
- Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and vehicle safety requirements.
- Experience working in construction, excavation, or aggregate hauling environments preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
