The Role
We are looking for a team member who wants to be an active contributor to the shop operations, assists lead mechanics as needed, and has the ability to efficiently work through their lists of tasks. The ideal candidate is familiar with planetary axles, transmissions, and wet brake systems.
Essential Functions
- Assist senior mechanics with repairs of heavy equipment including cleaning and preparation of parts for installation
- Ensure shop/warehouse is clean in appearance including removing trash, mopping, and sweeping as needed
- Properly and safely operate equipment such as grinders, parts washer, table blaster, jib crane, hydraulic press, and forklift
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 21
- Reliable & punctual
- Ability to lift or move equipment/materials weighing up to 80 pounds, with or without accommodation
Pay: $27.00 – $31.00 per hour
