Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of performance
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and standards
- Develop and update menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize profitability
- Train new staff members on food handling, safety procedures, and service protocols
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth functioning and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with restaurant management on operational improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Solid restaurant management experience including inventory control, cost management, and staff training
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills for effective team coordination and customer interaction
- Prior experience in the hospitality sector with a focus on serving guests at a high standard of service
- Demonstrated ability to innovate menus while maintaining quality standards

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
