Charlee’s Car Wash is looking for an Assistant Manager who leads with warmth, takes real ownership of the shift, and treats every customer like they matter — not just a car in line. You’ll help run day-to-day operations, lead a team of wash techs, and be the person who sets the tone for the kind of experience customers come back for.
What you’ll do
- Lead and coach team members during shifts — hands-on, on the floor.
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and memberships with patience and genuine care
- Keep equipment, safety, and cleanliness standards running smoothly
- Step in and solve problems in real time — schedules, staffing gaps, equipment hiccups
- Help train new team members and reinforce a strong, positive culture
What we’re looking for
- Someone who genuinely enjoys people — customers and teammates alike
- A leader who takes ownership without needing to be micromanaged — this is one of the biggest things we screen for, since it’s what separates a good shift from a great one
- Someone who stays calm and solution-focused when things get busy or go sideways
- Prior supervisory or customer service experience is a plus, but character and work ethic matter more than a perfect resume
- Reliable, on time, and willing to do the job alongside the team — not just direct from the sidelines
