Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restoration industry and possess a diverse skill set to handle various repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to build, restore, and maintain residential and commercial properties.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including but not limited to interior framing, door hanging, cabinet hanging and trouble shooting.
- Execute projects with precision, focusing on details and other necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide quality workmanship that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Must have your own tools in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist in remodeling projects by providing support in various capacities as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter / Handy Man or in a similar role within the restoration industry.
- Strong skills in building, restoring, and maintaining structures with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues that arise on the job.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally.
