The Grocery Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by developing and maintaining relationships with wholesale clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring consistent delivery of products and services. The role focuses on expanding market reach, achieving sales targets, and supporting overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale customers

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory

• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

• Conduct regular client visits and presentations to promote products

• Manage customer accounts, including order processing, pricing, and contract negotiations

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs

• Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, and operations) to ensure timely delivery

• Resolve customer concerns and provide high-quality service

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in wholesale, retail, or B2B sales (preferably in food or grocery industry)

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

• Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CRM experience is an asset

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (if required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food distribution, supermarket, or FMCG sector

• Knowledge of local wholesale markets and customer base
