Duties
- Monitor store premises using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and prevent theft or vandalism.
- Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies to resolve security issues efficiently.
- Perform surveillance operations and physical inspections to deter theft and ensure compliance with store policies.
- Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally, de-escalating potential disputes among customers or staff.
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports, logs, and records for future reference or legal proceedings.
- Control access points within the store, verifying credentials of visitors, contractors, and employees as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or loss prevention is highly desirable.
- Must be able to obtain a PILB prior to start date
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and criminal investigation procedures.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for documenting incidents clearly and accurately.
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Familiarity with security systems, alarm protocols, and conflict management strategies.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and external agencies seamlessly. Pay: $17.75 per hour
