Graphic Designer Jobs in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at Datadelves
Title: Graphic Designer
Company: Datadelves
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
About Us
DataDelves is a Vancouver-based data and analytics company that helps businesses turn raw numbers into decisions they can actually act on. As we grow our marketing and brand team, we're looking for an entry-level Graphic Designer to help us make complex data clear, beautiful, and easy to understand. No professional experience required — if you've got the eye and the drive, we'll help you build the rest.
About the Role
This is a ground-floor opportunity for a recent grad or self-taught designer to learn fast in a supportive team. You'll work alongside our senior designers and marketers on everything from social campaigns to infographics, getting real hands-on experience and mentorship from day one. It's an on-site role — we think the best learning happens shoulder-to-shoulder with the people you're working with.
What you'll do
- Support the marketing team with design across digital and print — social graphics, email campaigns, web assets, presentations, and reports
- Help turn complex data into clear, engaging infographics and one-pagers
- Create assets that stay on-brand and consistent across channels
- Edit and retouch images for use across platforms
- Learn print prep and coordinate with vendors (with plenty of guidance)
- Take feedback, iterate quickly, and grow your craft
What you need
- No professional experience required — recent grads, career-changers, and self-taught designers are all welcome
- A diploma, degree, or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field — or a strong self-taught portfolio
- A portfolio that shows your eye for design (school projects, personal work, freelance, or volunteer work all count)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma
- A good sense of typography, layout, colour, and hierarchy
- Genuine eagerness to learn and openness to feedback
- Strong attention to detail
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
Bonus points for
- Any experience with data visualization or infographics
- Motion graphics or basic video editing (After Effects, Premiere)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS
- Experience creating content for social media
