JOB SUMMARY:
The primary role of a Housekeeper is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and its surroundings. He/she will do basic and periodic cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing, vacuuming and scrubbing all the areas covered in the building. A Housekeeper is also responsible to make sure washrooms are cleaned and sanitized.

Initiates and constructively develops positive team dynamics with management, peers and guests.
Initiates communication or dialogue with supervisor or manager when processes, tasks, and instructions are not clear.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
Minimum of 1-year housekeeping experience required
Completion of grade 12 at the start of employment required
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
Able to safely lift 40 pounds
Must be personable, friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
High energy and a strong work ethic
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working Indoors and Outbuildings
Deal with cleaning chemicals
Able to safely lift up to 40lbs
Work on your feet most of the time
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$18.64/hour up to $20.20/hour depending on experience
