Compensation & Total Package
- Total Estimated Package: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
- The Breakdown: Competitive base salary + a performance-driven bonus structure.

Paid Training Program
- Location: Training will take place at our established Charlottesville location.
- The Process: We provide fully paid, comprehensive training so you can master the Dave’s Hot Chicken playbook, learn our systems, and feel 100% confident leading the Lynchburg grand opening!
What You’ll Do (The Role)
As the General Manager, you own the store. You will lead the grand opening, establish the culture, and drive performance:
- Build the Crew: Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Shift Leaders and Crew Members.
- Drive the Culture: Maintain the high-energy, inclusive, and fun atmosphere that Dave’s Hot Chicken is famous for.
- Manage the Bottom Line: Take full ownership of P&L statements, food costs, labor optimization, and inventory controls.
- Deliver Elite Quality: Ensure every single slider and tender goes out perfectly spiced, hot, and exactly to brand standards.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager (GM) or Store Manager in a high-volume, fast-casual or quick-service environment.
- Training Availability: Ability to complete the initial management training program at our Charlottesville store.
- The Launch Mindset: Experience with a New Restaurant Opening (NRO) is a huge plus, but not required—you just need the drive to build something from the ground up.
- People First: A track record of developing assistant managers and crew members into leaders.
