Full job description
We are a monument and cemetery management company. We look after 30+ cemeteries around Peterborough and the Kawartha’s, we are a small team of 11 people. We are responsible for cemetery interments, monument foundations, and the general upkeep of cemetery grounds including seasonal cleanings and grass cutting.
We have been in the cemetery and memorial industry for over 30 years. We bring compassion and comfort to our clients by looking out for them as we would our own family. We understand how difficult making arrangements can be, and we pride ourselves in trying to get to know individuals/families to best understand their stories and make them eternal.
CEMETERY MANAGEMENT
Daily upkeep of grass i.e., mowing, trimming, seeding, watering
Maintain burial plots before/after interments i.e., moving monuments/markers/gardens, leveling graves
Drive truck and trailer with lawn equipment
Dig & pour foundations for monuments
Schedule projects around interments and project deadlines
Assist in the opening/closing of plots for cremations and traditional casket burials
Clean and restore monuments/markers
Deliver and set monuments/markers to different cemeteries
Skills & Qualifications:
Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
Maintain a high level of professionalism when assisting clients

Strong time management and multitasking skills
Good attention to detail
Strong verbal communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekends as needed
