Major Responsibilities
– Ensures safe and efficient operation of cranes and processing equipment.
– Ensures the processing equipment is operating to specifications.
– Performs daily inspection on lifting equipment prior to start up.
– Enters required information into the AS400 per control plan.
– Ensures all necessary reports have been completed.
– Identifies packaged material per sales order requirements.
– Ensures non-conforming product is brought forth to the Production Supervisor for disposition.
– Generates and applies finish good tags to packaged product.
– Updates inventory material locations (RTS).
– Maintains good housekeeping in the work area.
– Take part and initiate continuous improvement efforts.
– Trains new employees as required.
– Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications
– Previous experience in a Production/Warehouse environment
– Commitment to Continuous Improvement and Safety
– Interest and ability to advance and take on increase responsibilities
Job Type:
– Full-time
The base pay for this position is $23.17/hour with a target variable pay of 4%
