Alton Greenhouses is hiring for the 2024 season, we are looking for individuals who have a keen interested in plants and gardening.
Individuals who wish to share and inspire others in a working greenhouse/Garden Centre environment.
Seasonal / Full time hours. Must be able to work 8.5 full time hours between :
8am-7pm , including weekends in busy season .
We are looking for someone who would rotate from plant maintenance to sales and cash
Jobs description :
Filling soil and containers on a line
Moving of plants/ containers to various areas in greenhouse
Planting and maintaining watering of plants .
Serving customers ,answering questions and directing them to what they’re looking for.
Unloading shipments of plants and other deliveries
General cleanup
Grass cutting ,weed trimming .
Must work well in a fast paced group environment
Need to be self motivated to a working environment.
