Our client is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. As a member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing various accounting functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and have experience working with digital currencies.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounting tasks across different business lines.
Record and reconcile transactions following established standards.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment handling.
Conduct regular account reconciliations and address discrepancies as needed.
Assist with financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
Support month-end closing activities as required.
Provide guidance to junior team members and share knowledge and best practices.
Lead annual audit processes and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Maintain awareness of tax reporting requirements and liaise with tax authorities when necessary.
Assist in developing and implementing internal control measures.
Collaborate with other departments to support organizational objectives.
Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Finance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA/CA certification preferred or working towards it.
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a relevant industry.
Familiarity with accounting software.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability to fast-paced work environments.
