Position Summary: Under the direction of the Supervisor, Residential Services, provide supervision and support for adults who have intellectual disabilities, within a community residential program that provides for the development and/or maintenance of their basic life skills as well as with intellectual, social, and academic skills, with a view to the achievement of each individual’s potential and personal goals.
Assets: Shift: As scheduled, 80 hours per pay period
Location: Haileybury
Salary Range: As per the Collective Agreement
Education / Training:
· Post-secondary bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, diploma in Developmental Services, or Social Services
Experience of a minimum of five (5) years in the DS sector will be considered. Please provide a written detailed overview of your experience (duties and responsibilities
· Vulnerable Sector Check
· Class “G” driver’s license
· Superior communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
· Collaborative team player, flexible and able to promote change.
· Well organized, a self-starter, able to work independently.
· Computer Skills
Ability to speak English and French is considered an asset.
