Description:
We’re looking for a reliable part-time cleaner to keep our modern dairy operation spotless. This is strictly a cleaning role—no milking, no animal handling, just keeping everything clean and sanitary.
Your main responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing robotic milking equipment
- Washing and maintaining calf feeders and Milk Taxi
- Scrubbing floors, walls, throughout the barn
- Keeping rooms, offices, and common areas tidy
- Any other cleaning tasks that come up to maintain a high standard of hygiene
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who takes pride in doing a thorough job
- Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning routine
- Comfortable working around farm equipment and livestock areas
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards before shift completion
- Follow established health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures
- Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred but not required
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic upkeep procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently
- Good organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads as needed
