Responsibilities of the roles/statement of work:
- Develop full-stack features for the form builder UI, web form renderer, and system integration components.
- Analyze and translate complex form requirements into functional, accessible, and interactive web form experience.
- Design application features using microservices architecture, API-first principles, and component-based design for scalability and modularity.
- Implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E) to ensure system quality and prevent regressions.
- Ensure the solution complies with WCAG 2.2 or EN 301 549 (Harmonised European Standard adopted by Canada) to ensure inclusive digital services, which would be aligned with A guide to creating accessible web products – Province of British Columbia.
- Develop and secure RESTful API integrations with internal systems, including authentication and data exchange layers.
- Knowledge management and documentation of development efforts
- Participate actively in agile development cycles, including sprints, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience (frontend and backend), with hands-on work in web application development, JSON development, API design, DevOps workflows and data modelling
- Demonstrated experience contributing to large-scale accessible web applications or enterprise systems
Desired experience for the role:
- Digital delivery experience in a regulated, audit-bound, data-sensitive environment due to statutory and compliance obligations
- Experience working on form builders or document-based platforms
