Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Duration: 12+ Months (with possible extension up to 24 months)
Location: Edmonton, AB (Remote with occasional onsite meetings)
Description:
We are looking for experienced Full Stack Developers to support digital transformation and service delivery initiatives. You will work in agile, cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance modern applications focused on improving user experience and operational efficiency.
This role requires hands-on development, collaboration with stakeholders, and contribution across the full software development lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in agile environments
- Strong experience with Git or similar source control tools
- 3+ years of experience with unit and integration testing
- 3+ years of experience with databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Experience working on production-level applications
Nice to Have:
- Experience modernizing legacy systems into modern digital platforms
- Experience with backend technologies (.NET Core, Node.js, Python)
- Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to UX, service design, or human-centered design
- Experience working on public sector or government projects
