You are applying for the position of team lead for Canada’s ONLY certified Gluten-free Food Truck
“`Duties“`
– Organize your crew for each event
– Oversee the daily operations of the food truck, ensuring smooth and efficient service and complete daily safety and maintenance checks
– Organize your crew for each event and manage a team of food truck staff, including training, and scheduling
– Develop and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring a positive dining experience
– Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
– Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food and supplies as needed
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage
– Coordinate with our restaurant team and management to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and materials
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, both inside and outside
“`Requirements“`
– Previous experience in food truck cooking is preferred but will also consider relevant hospitality, or restaurant management
– Valid G Driver’s License
– Excellent deep frying skills
– Ability to troubleshoot the truck systems including cooking equipment and fire suppression
– Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to interview, train, and manage a team effectively
– Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
