We are seeking a Food Safety & Inventory Supervisor to oversee food safety compliance, warehouse operations, sanitation programs, and inventory control. This position is responsible for maintaining food safety standards, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards throughout the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address food safety, operational, and compliance risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and established procedures.
- Coordinate microbiological and organic sample testing and maintain related records.
- Maintain and organize food safety documentation, certifications, reports, and audit records.
- Verify that supplier certifications and required compliance documents remain current and properly filed.
- Supervise employee attendance and report attendance and personnel-related issues as needed.
- Perform and oversee physical inventory counts of materials and supplies.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Verify inventory transactions, including material receipts, usage, transfers, and shipments.
- Review orders, labels, manifests, and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and prevent operational errors.
- Coordinate the availability of packaging materials and operational supplies to support production needs.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, organization, and control of warehouse materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and warehouse transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain efficient and uninterrupted operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage both food safety compliance and inventory control while supporting a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse operation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Experience in food safety, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related supervisory role.
- Knowledge of food safety and inventory control practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,240.00 – $36,920.00 per year
