Hammer and Nails Handyman is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our core team in Pittsburgh South and Pittsburgh West. As we expand our remodeling division, we need a pro who can lead the installation of various flooring types for our kitchen, bath, and basement projects. This is a unique opportunity to get in early with a small, dedicated crew and help build the foundation of our flooring department as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation of LVP, laminate, hardwood, and tile flooring for residential remodels.
- Execute thorough subfloor preparation, including leveling, patching, and underlayment installation.
- Perform precision cuts around door jambs, vents, and transitions for a seamless finish.
- Install baseboards, shoe molding, and transitions to complete the flooring phase.
- Mentor less experienced team members on proper layout techniques and tool safety.
Qualifications:
- Extensive, demonstrable experience in residential flooring installation (multiple material types).
- Proven ability to handle subfloor prep and layout planning independently.
- Proficiency with professional saws, spacers, pneumatic nailers, and floor leveling tools.
- Strong attention to detail regarding patterns, grain direction, and waste management.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
