Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated service technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various security systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cabling techniques and the ability to work effectively in the field to ensure high-quality service delivery to our clients.
Duties
- Install and maintain low-voltage cabling systems, including Ethernet and telephone lines.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform installations efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer networking and security systems.
- Conduct field service visits to assess client needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on-site.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security installation or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with cabling practices, including low-voltage installations.
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a field service environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
