Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops, as well as operating various farm machinery and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farming and horticulture. Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and equipment
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems, machinery, and farm infrastructure
- Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks including pruning, repairing fences, and installing equipment
- Conduct general farm maintenance including cleaning, repairing, and inspecting equipment and facilities
- Assist with soil preparation, pest control, and crop rotation activities
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Support the overall farm operations by heavy lifting of supplies or harvested produce as needed
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment operation
- Experience with irrigation systems and horticultural practices
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks using hand tools, power tools, and basic repair skills
- Knowledge of farm machinery operation including heavy equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting and harvesting schedules
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
