Farm Equipment Operator/Shop Laborer Jobs in Hancock, ME at Merrill Blueberry Farms Inc
Come work for Merrill Blueberry Farms, Inc., a full-service wild blueberry grower and processor, in operation since 1925. Merrill’s is seeking a highly-motivated individual that enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, operating and maintaining equipment used in the growing, freezing, and packing of wild Maine blueberries.
Duties include: Operation and maintenance of tractors and flatbed trucks, driving to/from various fields in Hancock and Waldo Counties, assisting with mowing, spraying, burning, and harvesting of wild blueberry fields, shop work such as basic welding, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, general labor, etc… This “Jack or Jill of all Trades” must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to work 40 hours per week, and expected overtime during harvest season from late July through early September. Agriculture or shop experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
Full-time employment is preferred; however, we will entertain a “part-time” employee who can work full-time hours from April through November.

Starting wage is based on skill level and experience.
