Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble baked goods, pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in food production for daily service and special occasions, adhering to recipes and portion controls.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, measuring ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed to support smooth kitchen operations.
Experience
- Proven pastry or baking experience within a high-volume food production setting is a plus!
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety standards are required.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and high-volume production processes will help ensure operational excellence.
- A background in culinary arts or relevant training from a recognized institution is beneficial but not mandatory.
