NEW STARTING RATE: $18.00 per hour!
$18.50 within 90 days of employment
CURRENT SCHEDULE: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Overtime: Fridays as needed

POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will carry out tasks in our manufacturing facility within the extrusion department. The candidate will be responsible for operating extrusion equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring product quality, and supporting production goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate extrusion equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure efficiency and product quality.
- Complete production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies to the Supervisor or Quality team.
- Assist with setup and changeover of extrusion equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
- Support team members to meet daily production goals.
- Assist in inventory processes as required.
- Participate in training and follow proper procedures within the department.
- Perform all job responsibilities within the Extrusion department as noted on checklist.
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members regarding production issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in wet conditions where shoes may get wet.
- Basic understanding of the cure process and ability to complete required checks.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to read and measure hoses using calipers and tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail for quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required.
- Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse with minimal temperature control, including hot and cold environments.
- Must follow all safety procedures. Experience in a manufacturing or extrusion environment is preferred.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
