We are seeking an experienced Florist to join our team, bringing creativity, expertise, and a passion for floral design. Responsibilities
- Create custom floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, offering expert advice on floral care and design options
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain the visual merchandising of the store to ensure attractive displays that promote sales
- Oversee landscape maintenance around the store or event sites as needed
- Support e-commerce operations by updating online product listings and processing online orders
- Ensure all floral products are fresh, well-maintained, and properly stored
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and inventory management
- Utilize multilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a florist or in floral design with a strong portfolio of previous work
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance practices
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail sales procedures
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management
- Experience with customer service and sales strategies in a retail environment
- Ability to operate within an e-commerce platform for online sales management
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Passion for floral artistry combined with a professional attitude and teamwork orientation
Pay: $15.00-$26.75 per hour
