**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating and optimizing the flow of goods, products, and information within our organization.
**Duties:**
– Process orders accurately and efficiently
– Assist in order picking, packing, and shipping/receiving tasks
– Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
– Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for inventory tracking
– Support warehouse distribution activities
– Assist in demand planning and inventory management
– Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the logistics department
**Experience:**
– Previous experience in logistics, order fulfillment, or a related field preferred
– Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Proficiency in using various computer systems and software applications
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
