Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Carpenters who are passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship across a variety of construction and renovation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise carpentry work, interpreting blueprints, and utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to bring architectural visions to life. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures such as framing, siding, roofing, flooring, drywall, and cabinetry with precision.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and install materials including wood, metal studs, concrete forms, stucco, and rebar.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site activities while maintaining safety standards.
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and levels; ensure all work aligns with project specifications.
- Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, moldings, and trim carpentry components with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time; assist in demolition or restoration efforts as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction estimating and project planning processes.
- Proficiency in various types of carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, siding, cabinetry installation, and drywall finishing.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, nail guns).
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate project execution.
- Experience with concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and rebar installation.
- Ability to perform remodeling projects involving flooring installation (tile laying), electrical experience (lighting fixtures), plumbing connections or masonry work.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery operation for fabrication or assembly tasks is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations; capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in restoration industry settings or manufacturing environments.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding client requirements for fixture installation or renovation projects.
