Junior Automotive Technician / Entry-Level Mechanic

NR Service, a division of No Reserve Classics, is expanding its service team and is looking for a motivated Junior Automotive Technician who is eager to learn, work hard, and grow in the automotive industry.

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Automotive Technician / Entry-Level Mechanic to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone with 1+ years of professional automotive experience who has basic mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience working on cars, and a strong passion for classic cars, American muscle cars, and Performance Vehicles

You will work directly with experienced technicians and the Operations Manager to assist with inspections, repairs, vehicle preparation, accessories, upgrades, and general shop operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in a high-quality automotive environment.

This is a full-time position with hourly pay based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with mechanical inspections on classic cars, performance vehicles, and trucks
  • Assist with basic maintenance, repairs, and vehicle preparation
  • Help diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues under supervision
  • Assist with brake, suspension, steering, engine, and drivetrain-related work
  • Assist with truck accessories, including lift kits, leveling kits, light bars, bumpers, wheels, and related upgrades
  • Support senior technicians with builds, repairs, and vehicle improvements
  • Help prepare vehicles before photography, listing, delivery, or sale
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
  • Follow shop procedures and safety standards
  • Document work performed and communicate clearly with management
  • Be willing to learn classic vehicle systems, modern systems, and custom accessory installation

Qualifications

  • 1+ yeasr of automotive technician or hands-on mechanical experience
  • Basic mechanical knowledge required
  • Experience working on personal vehicles, shop vehicles, school projects, or automotive-related work preferred
  • Strong passion for classic cars, American muscle cars, and performance cars,
  • Interest in learning about classic vehicle repair, performance upgrades, and accessories
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Must have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Must take pride in clean, quality work
  • MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS
