Job Title: Events Porter
Reports to: Directly reports to the Events Janitorial Supervisor

Shifts Available:
- Full Time, Wednesday-Sunday, 1:00pm-10:00pm
- Part Time-On Call, can expect anywhere between 10-20 hours per week. Must have evening and weekend availability
Job Description:
Provides janitorial and event support services at the property, ensuring an attractive, sanitary, and safe environment for visitors, students, and staff. This role is responsible for routine cleaning as well as supporting the setup and breakdown of facilities for school events. Assignments must be completed safely, properly, and within established timeframes.
Position Overview:
- Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment
- Performs general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, polishing, cleaning windows, wiping furniture, and emptying waste containers
- Assists with setup and breakdown of school events, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment according to event layouts
- Prepares event spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness prior to scheduled functions
- Performs post-event cleanup and restores spaces to standard configurations
- Coordinates with management and school staff to plan, prioritize, and execute custodial and event-related tasks
- Maintains supplies and equipment to ensure availability of custodial items required to properly service facilities
- Distributes custodial supplies and equipment to team members and storage areas as needed
- Inspects facilities to ensure standards are met and reports maintenance or repair needs to the Janitorial Supervisor
- Monitors work areas to maintain a safe environment and prevent injuries
- Participates in trainings as required to perform job functions
- Provides professional and courteous customer service to staff, students, and visitors
- Demonstrates flexibility in daily responsibilities based on school and event needs
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management
Schedule Requirements:
This position requires flexibility, including evenings, and weekends based on event schedules.
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation required
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- 3-5 years of customer service experience
- 3-5 years of janitorial, housekeeping, portering, or event set up experience required

Experience and Education:
Three or more years in either janitorial and/or portering role.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
