Electronics Technician Jobs in Endicott, NY at Stafkings Personnel Systems
Stafkings is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Technician with hands-on experience in soldering, cable assembly, and/or electrical chassis builds. This role supports production and engineering teams in assembling high-quality electronic components and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision soldering on electronic components and circuit boards
- Assemble and build cable harnesses and wire assemblies to specifications
- Assist with electrical chassis assembly, including mounting components and routing wiring
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Use hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment (multimeters, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in soldering, cable assembly, or electrical/mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of electrical components and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC soldering certification (a plus, not required)
- Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Pay: $21.00 – $23.50 per hour
