Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drywall Carpenter/ Demo Tech to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing drywall installation, finishing, and demolition tasks across various construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Measure, cut, install, and finish drywall panels with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform demolition tasks including removal of existing drywall, plaster, or other wall materials safely and efficiently.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute installation and demolition plans.
- Assist with plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to achieve seamless finishes.
- Support restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold removal, and structural repairs.
- Install fixtures such as doors, windows, and hardware in accordance with project specifications.
- Use hand tools and power equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation, finishing techniques, and demolition procedures.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in carpentry skills including framing, door hanging, trim work, and metal stud framing.
- Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry work.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and the restoration industry standards.
- Ability to operate construction plumbing tools for fixture installation or repairs.
- Handyman experience with general repair tasks on construction sites.
