Job description
This is an open call/invitation for qualified applicants to express their interest in joining theDrydenToke House crew! Our crew members are as unique as the people we serve, dedicated to delivering a world-class retail store experience where compassion, professionalism, energy, knowledge, and overall customer service ensures the type of shopping experience that encourages loyalty and keeps guests coming back.
Key Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Recruit, hire, onboard, train and develop enthusiastic Customer Experience/Sale Representatives who are passionate about supporting Toke House’s mission and vision
Act as a role model who coaches, mentors and inspires their team; foster a progressive culture and facilitate activities that will build and enhance teamwork and retention
Establish a strong sales and customer service culture with an accountability for operating standards and a drive to increase financial performance
Complete quarterly performance evaluations for all employees
Create and adjust scheduling according to sales performance and overall store traffic
Manage store schedule to ensure best possible coverage of floor and non-customer facing staff while minimizing labour expense
Schedule sales training and product knowledge sessions for staff on an ongoing basis
Ensure POS transactions and end of day cash reconciliation is accurate and follow-up and any discrepancies
Responsible for weekly OCS order reviewing and receiving/inventory
Sales Associate Support:
Help hire great people, supervise and manage employees and ensure all employees have a valid Cannsell license
Motivate and inspire team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking
Coach team members and provide positive and constructive feedback so that they grow professionally
Train all team members on work procedures and policies so that everyone understands what’s required to do a great job
Maintain written SOPs as changes to policy and/or regulations occur and ensure compliance among team
Assist in building a weekly staff schedule that complies with labor policies
Be accessible and extremely responsive to all team member’s questions, suggestions, and concerns and help resolve any team member conflicts
Lead by example and work with staff to deal with any circumstances that may arise in a high volume retail store
Regulatory Adherence:
Comply with all OH&S (Occupational, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures
Support and promote Toke House’s and OGLC’s (Ontario Gaming and Liquor Commission) social responsibility programs
Comply with Toke House’s policies, standard operating procedures, and practices
Ensure that all Cannabis is secure at all times
Ensure all IT systems and camera system are working correctly
