Pack of Paws Dog Daycare is looking for a caring, dependable dog lover to join our small, close-knit workplace. We provide a structured, closely supervised daycare environment with a strong focus on understanding dogs, their behaviour, and their individual needs.
About the Role
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with dogs and wants to deepen their understanding of canine behaviour, communication, and training principles. This role offers hands-on experience in a setting that emphasizes canine communication, structure, and consistent leadership.
Responsibilities Include
- Supervising dog play groups in a structured setting
- Providing confident, consistent leadership to support safe group dynamics
- Observing and responding to dog body language and behaviour
- Guiding dogs using clear expectations and routine
- Maintaining a clean and organized facility
- Communicating in a friendly, professional manner with clients
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with dogs or having raised your own dog from puppyhood
- Interest in dog behaviour and training
- Reliable, engaged, and eager to learn
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Schedule & Training
- Shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Starting at 10–15 hours per week, with opportunity to grow
- Minimum 20 hours of weekly availability required
- Extensive training provided
