WE ARE HIRING! – LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED DOCK WORKER/ SWAMPER TO JOIN OUR SASKATOON TEAM!
This DEDICATED position will load and unload for a high value customer. Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm – with some weekend availability.
The successful candidate will:
Load/unload LTL & City P&D Trucks;
Work with Drivers to assist with deliveries/unloading freight;
Complete all trip manifests using dock scanners
Keep the dock and warehouse surroundings clean and tidy.
Inspect shipments for proper quantity and damaged products.
Sign off manifests, ensuring any irregularities are noted.
Possess detailed knowledge of Saskatoon area for delivery purposes.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks with safety,
Keep a positive attitude for customers and peers on the dock.
Observe all company rules, policies and procedures with regards to quality control, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.
Perform sundry duties as assigned by your supervisor.
The successful Candidate will have:
Valid Class 5 License
Great attitude
Safety conscious approach to avoid Injury and Damage to high value freight.
An ability to pass a pre employment Drug and alcohol screening
Clean Criminal record – No Criminal convictions in the last 10 years
*Preference for local candidates only, as there is no relocation assistance provided for this role. This role does not qualify for an LMO under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program
