Located only a short 20-minute drive east of Parliament Hill, you will find the stunning Camelot Golf & Country Club, a private member-owned club with high standards of operations, focused upon providing service excellence to our members and guests. Routinely rated as a Top 100 Golf Course in Canada, the golf course is one of the best kept courses in the national Capital region.
We are currently hiring full-time & part-time dish stewards to join a creative and high performing kitchen team. As a Dish Steward at Camelot, you must understand that you directly influence the Member’s impression of the club, and as a result you hold high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Must have own transportation, as public transportation does not service our location
Qualifications & Hiring Criteria:
Responsible and reliable
Presentable, with quality work effort
Must be capable of handling pressure at peak service times
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
A strong team member, who communicates well with supervisors and colleagues
Must be available to work a variety of scheduled shifts (ie. nights, weekends and holidays)
Tasks include (but are not limited to):
Operates dishwashing machine to Club and manufacturer specifications
Sorts all silverware into respective compartments
Cleans and sanitizes the dish machine at the close
Returns cleaned dishes to their designated storage areas
Removes and disposes of all kitchen and dish pit garbage
Communicate with other cooks, supervisors and Management
Other tasks as required
