Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving the success of a single manufacturing facility, acting as a catalyst for change management. All while delivering exceptional results and optimizing overall performance. This key leadership position holds responsibility for the full facility’s P&L, business performance metrics, product launch management, supplier relationships, customer development, collaboration, cost management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Drive and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing facility’s P&L and business performance metrics.
Lead product launch management, ensuring successful and efficient processes.
Manage and maintain strategic supplier relationships to enhance overall efficiency and collaboration.
Support and contribute to new customer development while maintaining existing collaborations.
Contribute to cost and product pricing strategies.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Lead and develop departmental managers to foster a high-performance culture.
Maintain strong employee relationships to ensure a motivated and engaged workforce.
Demonstrate strong project management skills to execute initiatives effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience manufacturing facility leadership.
5+ years leading process improvement programs and procedures.
Graduate degree in engineering, finance, or business
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
5+ years of budget and financial responsibility for a manufacturing facility.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally, across all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in engineering or business.
10+ years of experience leading a large manufacturing facility.
Experience in metal stamping within a manufacturing setting.
