Brand Vision is a Toronto-based web design, branding, and marketing agency with a presence in Chicago. We work with clients across Canada and the United States, from enterprise organizations to founder-led startups, delivering web design, branding, SEO, paid media, and marketing consultation that stays practical and measurable.
We're looking for a digital marketing specialist who can write great content and create well-thought-out strategies across our client accounts and our own properties. This is an agency role, so you'll work across multiple clients and industries simultaneously, each with different audiences, voices, and goals. Your focus is content and brand strategy. You'll also support paid and social execution on a small number of accounts.
What you'll do
Content strategy and creation. Develop and produce content across client accounts and Brand Vision's own brands: blog programs for SEO retainers, website copy, brand messaging, and supporting ad and social copy. You'll research each client's market and audience, define the angle and positioning, and turn it into content that ranks, earns visibility in AI-driven search, and sounds like the brand it represents.
Client research and input. Interview clients and run light research or surveys to gather the real expertise and data that make content credible and worth citing, rather than generic. Translate that into briefs, messaging, and content plans.
Paid and social support. Support a small number of Google Ads and Meta accounts, plus organic social for select clients: drafting copy, planning calendars, scheduling, and basic optimization. This is a secondary part of the role with support from the team, not a standalone performance marketing function.
Collaboration and reporting. Work closely with our SEO leads, who set account strategy, so content reflects each client's direction. Contribute content and performance insights to client reporting, and flag opportunities and risks proactively.
What we're looking for
Required
- This is a full-time, in-office role at our Toronto location. Candidates must be currently residing in Toronto or the surrounding area within reasonable commuting distance. Applications from outside this radius will not be considered.
- 2 to 4 years of content, copywriting, or brand strategy experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client setting.
- Excellent writing across formats (long-form, web, brand messaging, social), with a portfolio that demonstrates range and quality.
- Strong brand thinking: the ability to define positioning, audience, and voice. Brand as research and strategy, not visual identity.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI writing tools.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta, enough to manage small accounts with oversight (copy, setup, basic optimization).
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can lead a client conversation, present your thinking clearly, and turn strategy into finished work.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with generative engine optimization (GEO) and how AI-driven search affects content strategy.
- SEO content experience (keyword research, on-page basics, content planning) and comfort with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.
- Organic social media management across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok where relevant).
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
- Conversion-focused copywriting and CRO fundamentals.
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS platforms.
