Diesel Mechanic Jobs in McPherson, KS at McPherson Area Solid Waste Utiltiy
Responsibilities:
- Performs skilled mechanical work
- May be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of automotive and heavy construction vehicles
- Will complete daily tasks on tablet
- Will assist in the maintenance of tools and shop equipment
- May repair tires, pick up parts, complete repairs in the field, wash equipment, repair and rebuild refuse containers
- Will routinely work overtime hours.
- Will on occasion need to work Saturdays.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years diesel mechanic experience
- Truck computer experience preferred
- Class A license preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
