Job Description:
Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Laptop Refresh Technician to support device deployment activities.
- This role involves imaging, configuring, and deploying laptops to end users, as well as coordinating directly with customers to ensure a smooth transition and full functionality of newly issued devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Image and configure laptops according to organizational standards
- Perform laptop refresh activities including setup, deployment, and replacement of devices
- Schedule and manage customer appointments for device deployment
- Provide remote support to users to verify device functionality post-deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues
- Ensure all devices are properly documented and tracked throughout the deployment process
- Deliver a high level of customer service during all interactions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with laptop imaging and deployment processes
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows preferred) and standard enterprise applications
- Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to coordinate schedules and manage multiple appointments efficiently
- Experience with remote support tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in IT support, desktop support, or device deployment roles
- Knowledge of enterprise IT environments and asset management tools
Work Environment
- Fully onsite role in Toronto, ON
- Direct interaction with end users and IT teams
