Position Summary
This is a dual-role position that combines local product deliveries with office administration. The successful candidate will spend part of the day making deliveries and the remaining time assisting with customer service, scheduling, invoicing, and general office duties.
ResponsibilitiesDelivery Duties
- Deliver products safely and professionally throughout the GTA.
- Load and unload materials carefully.
- Verify delivery orders and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and professional condition.
- Plan efficient delivery routes.
- Assist with warehouse organization when required.
Office Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers.
- Schedule deliveries and customer appointments.
- Follow up on quotations, invoices, and outstanding payments.
- Prepare invoices, packing slips, and delivery documents.
- Maintain customer records and filing systems.
- Assist the sales team with administrative support.
- Respond to emails professionally.
- Perform general office administration and data entry.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel).
- Organized, reliable, and able to multitask.
- Experience in construction, building materials, cabinets, or millwork is considered an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset (training can be provided).
