Van Berkum Nursery is a wholesale perennial grower in Deerfield, NH. We hire non-CDL drivers with clean driving records and can-do attitudes to deliver plants to independent garden centers and retailers, landscape installations of all sizes, estates, botanical gardens, colleges, and other institutions throughout New England. This is a seasonal position.
Job duties would include, but are not limited to the following:
– Delivering high-quality products to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
– Establishing and maintaining outstanding relations with customers
– Reviewing and verifying invoices and purchase requests for accuracy
– Inspecting delivery vehicles to ensure safety and security during the loading/unloading process
– Contacting customers to confirm delivery details and handling questions or concerns
– Maintaining delivery logs and records to ensure accountability
Qualifications
– Valid driver’s license.
– Must be 21+
– Good driving record with no traffic violations
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Willing to work overtime when needed.
– Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
– Ability to move racks and lift heavy goods.
– Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
