Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a 5 ton to transport goods to customers
– Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as lift gate, four wheelers, or two wheelers
-Deliver & assemble furniture goods into customer’s homes while being professional, mindful, & respective of homes/ existing goods
– Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
– Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or questions
– Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
– Inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or damages
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with each delivery
Qualifications:
– Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
-Air brake endorsement
– Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
– Excellent customer service skills
