We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about high quality food and beverages. We need someone who is Customer Service oriented and can motivate others. We are looking for individuals who can make a commitment to sustainable values and to us by becoming a member of our Deli Team. This is an hourly, full time and/or part time position and includes weekends. Discount card, medical and dental benefits (FT) and gain sharing (FT) available.
Deli Counter Clerk – Part time/Full time
Salary range is $17.00 – $19.00/hr. based on experience

Includes weekends.
Both day and evening shifts.
The Deli Clerk serves prepared goods to customers at the Deli Counter by performing the following duties (other duties may be assigned):
-Serves customers at the Deli counter by listening to the request and obtaining the desired product.
– Answers the telephone and takes orders when necessary.
– Proper use of slicer to cut weighable product required.
– Wraps and/or boxes and labels product.
– Makes sandwiches.
– Serves items from the deli case.
– Stocks and replenishes products and any other items at the Deli counter needed to provide excellent customer service.
The successful candidates will have:
– At least 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced restaurant or deli (deli counter job)
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly nature
– An understanding of inventory and waste control procedures
– A willingness to learn and adapt in a growing and evolving company
– The ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time

Requirements:
– Must frequently lift or move up to 40lbs
– Must be able to stand for long periods of time
– Must be able to work in cold conditions in walk-in refrigeration
– Must be able to use small appliances and sharp tools in the kitchen, including knives
– Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
– Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
