General Position Description
The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising the work of Direct Support Professionals and ensuring that agency policies and procedures are upheld and that the individuals served live valued and high-quality lives. American Sign Language (ASL) fluency required.
Broad Areas of Responsibility
Participating in agency activities, serving on committees, and communicating the agency’s values and principles to others; supervising the work of DSP while on shift; providing program specific training to new employees; valuing the skills and input of co-workers; personal care supports, community integration, recreational, educational and social skills supports; vocational supports; environmental maintenance and safety.
Minimal Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Two years of experience in providing direct support to recipients of community human services
- Demonstrates excellence in providing Direct Support to individuals served
- Good computer skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and insured vehicle
- American Sign Language (ASL) fluency required
- All required annual trainings current & Relias trainings current; if not, provide an action plan of how this will be completed
Desired Qualifications
- An Associate Degree or certificate in a human services field or related experience
- Supervisory experience or Management training
- Three years of direct support experience in community
*Perspectives Corporation is hiring for a Site Supervisor positions in two different locations – West Kingston and Coventry, RI.
- West Kingston location requires 40 hours – (35 hours direct care, 5 indirect hours) Tuesday – Saturday
- Coventry location requires 40 hours – (35 hours direct care, 5 indirect hours) Tuesday – Saturday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.15 – $28.00 per hour
