Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong understanding of data concepts, data modeling, and data lifecycle management. The role focuses on translating business needs into clear technical and data requirements and supporting data-driven solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technology teams to gather and translate business needs into technical and data requirements.
- Document requirements including data definitions, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Conduct data and process analysis to identify gaps, data quality issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Support delivery and implementation planning through impact analysis and requirement clarity assessments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of data concepts including entities, relationships, keys, and domains.
- Experience with data modeling patterns including relational, dimensional, and lakehouse.
- Understanding of data lifecycle across environments.
- Experience interpreting and specifying data flows, data contracts, and interface requirements between systems.
- Proficiency in requirements lifecycle management including elicitation, documentation, validation, and traceability.
- Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder sessions and collaborating with business and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for cross-functional collaboration and presentations.
- Ability to define and validate data requirements, transformation rules, and data quality checks.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage principles.
- Python (>7 years)
Nice to Have
- Experience in insurance or financial services, especially back-office or product systems.
