About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and operationally focused Data Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing and managing dashboards, metrics, and data models that support our operational and account management functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent technical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, product, and engineering, to ensure our data infrastructure is robust, reliable, and optimized for decision-making. The position involves hands-on work in our warehouses and requires a proactive approach to data quality, governance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, Mode, or Metabase
  • Background in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Willingness to understand operational processes and develop relevant metrics
  • Experience or familiarity with data governance, data cleaning, and normalization techniques
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles, especially within logistics or supply chain contexts (bonus)
  • Experience with data transformation tools like dbt (bonus)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and familiarity with version control systems like Git (bonus)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS (bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and data models to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Identify, source, and integrate new data to enhance existing analytics capabilities
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to build reliable data pipelines and seamless data ingestion processes
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and consistency
  • Maintain documentation of KPI definitions, data sources, and data standards across the organization
  • Regularly review and update dashboards to minimize conflicting information and improve usability
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to optimize operational efficiency, improve revenue retention, and support strategic initiatives
  • Monitor data platforms for bugs, anomalies, or quality issues, and troubleshoot as needed
  • Perform data cleaning, normalization, and validation to ensure data integrity and reliability
