THE ROLE
As our Customer Success Manager, you’ll be the first face new customers see after they sign up. You’ll guide them through onboarding, help them get to value quickly, and build the kind of relationships that make people stick around — and tell their colleagues about us.
This is an entry-level role, but it’s not a small one. You’ll own the onboarding experience end-to-end, contribute to the playbooks we use to scale, and have a direct line to leadership from day one. If you’re someone who genuinely loves helping people figure things out, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and gets excited by tools like Loom, HubSpot, and AI assistants — we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own onboarding for new Hellohire customers from sign-up to active use
- Run onboarding calls and product walkthroughs tailored to each customer’s goals
- Proactively check in with customers, remove blockers, and track progress
- Maintain onboarding guides, checklists, and Loom video walkthroughs
- Log customer interactions and health data in HubSpot
- Spot patterns in customer friction and share insights with the CS and Product teams
- Collaborate with Sales and Support to keep the customer experience seamless
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- 6 months–2 years in customer success, account management, support, or a client-facing role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication — clear, warm, and human
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple customers at once
- Comfortable picking up new tools quickly (we’ll train you on the rest)
- Genuine passion for helping customers succeed
- Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity
Nice to have:
- Experience in SaaS or HR tech
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRMs
- Experience creating internal documentation or process guides
A DAY IN THE LIFE
You start your morning reviewing your HubSpot queue — a few customers are mid-onboarding and one flagged a question overnight. You record a quick Loom to answer it before their call. Mid-morning you run a kickoff with a new agency in Ohio, walking them through the platform and learning about their hiring process so you can tailor the experience. In the afternoon you update the onboarding checklist based on a pattern you’ve been seeing, then join a sync with the CS lead to review health scores. You end the day having genuinely helped three teams move forward.
