Crane Operator/Rigger Jobs in Spruce Grove at Alberta Precast Products
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Crane Operator to support the installation of precast concrete panels across job sites in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The role requires operating a 200-ton mobile crane and traveling to various sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, precision, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 200T mobile crane for lifting and installing precast concrete panels
- Safely transport crane to and from job sites across Alberta and Saskatchewan
- Work closely with riggers and site crews during panel installation
- Interpret load charts and ensure lifts are within crane capacity
- Inspect crane before and after use, ensuring safe operating condition
- Follow all site safety procedures and provincial regulations (OH&S)
- Perform lifts with precision to meet structural alignment requirements
- Maintain logs, service records, and daily reports
Requirements
- Valid Crane Operator Certification (Red Seal or provincial certification preferred)
- Proven experience operating 200T (or similar capacity) mobile cranes
- Experience installing precast concrete panels or similar structural work
- Valid driver’s license with ability to transport crane to job sites
- Strong understanding of rigging, signaling, and safe lifting practices
- Ability to travel frequently and work on remote job sites
- Knowledge of Alberta & Saskatchewan safety regulations
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial or industrial construction
- First Aid / CPR certification
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience coordinating complex panel lifts
